Pakistan Naval Academy Hosts Graduation Parade for 124th Midshipmen and 32nd SSC Course

KARACHI – The Pakistan Naval Academy held the passing out parade for the 124th Midshipmen and 32nd Short Service Commission Course on Saturday. The ceremony showcased traditional zeal, discipline, and military decorum. Commander Royal Bahrain Naval Force Rear Admiral Ahmed Mohammed Ibrahim Al Bin Ali attended as the chief guest. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf welcomed him on arrival. The event highlighted the academy’s role in training highly skilled naval officers.

During the parade, cadets saluted the Chief of the Naval Staff while the chief guest inspected the formations. Rear Admiral Ahmed awarded medals and trophies to cadets who excelled during their training. Officer Cadet Umar Mukhtar from Pakistan received the Chief of the Naval Staff Gold Medal. Officer Cadet Al-Dhahabi Fahad Hissam Fareed from Iraq also received the Gold Medal. Midshipman Shahab Ahmed was presented with the Academy Dirk, and Midshipman Muhammad Uzair Abbas received the Honorary Sword for overall performance.

Addressing the ceremony, Commandant Pakistan Naval Academy Commodore Zia-ur-Rehman praised the academy for producing professional and dedicated naval officers. He emphasized the academy’s long-standing tradition of excellence. Commodore Zia-ur-Rehman noted that the academy remains a source of pride for Pakistan. He encouraged the new officers to uphold the values and standards instilled during their training. The event reflected the academy’s commitment to high-quality naval education.

Rear Admiral Ahmed Mohammed Ibrahim Al Bin Ali expressed gratitude for the invitation and highlighted the strong bonds between Bahrain and Pakistan. He mentioned that he himself graduated from the Pakistan Naval Academy. The Bahraini commander praised the academy for its professional training and support for cadets from friendly nations. He urged the graduates to serve their countries with dedication and skill. He also emphasized the importance Bahrain places on its relationship with Pakistan.

Finally, the ceremony celebrated the achievements of the graduating cadets while strengthening international naval cooperation. It highlighted Pakistan’s role in providing quality military training to friendly countries. Both Pakistani and international cadets were honored for their performance. The event reinforced the spirit of professionalism, discipline, and brotherhood among officers. It marked a proud moment for the Pakistan Naval Academy and its alumni.

A prestigious passing out parade ceremony took place today at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, marking the graduation of cadets from the 152nd Long Course, 37th Technical Graduate Course, 71st Integrated Course, and the 26th Lady Cadet Course.

The event was graced by Chief of Army Staff and Field Marshal General Syed Asim Munir, who attended the ceremony as the chief guest. His arrival was met with a standing ovation from the audience, reflecting the respect and admiration he holds across the military community. Field Marshal later inspected the parade and addressed the graduating cadets.
